There were also twelve 2s on the 4th, 6th & 12th.
Simon Hollis from Uttoxeter GC, using a 3 Wood, had a Hole-in-One on the 187 yards, Par 3, 12th hole, winning a £5,000 cash prize.
A big thank you to the Greenstaff, as the course was again in excellent condition, and to Dawn and her team for providing great food all day.
Also to Phil (Seniors’ Captain) & Gill Stazaker and Yvonne Rowe, who helped on the 12th Tee serving tea, coffee and biscuits.
Finally, a very big thank you to Kevin Barry (Seniors’ Open Secretary) for organising a very successful event, and to those UGC Seniors who helped out before and on the day. Without their continued support, the event would not have been as successful.
Yet again, there were many comments made by visitors complementing the Club on the course and organising a great event.
