The 8th hole, one of two Par 5's off the white tees but the only one off the normal yellow tees. With the hole playing up over the first ridge with a challenging long second shot to lay up short of the raised green the trick is to keep away from the hazardous tree line to the left. With fairly thick undergrowth to your left and a well guarded green with out of bounds to the left and back a confident 3rd shot is required.

Looking at the approach shot to the green. Heavy tree line to the left with out of bounds beyond that. Fairway of the 9th on the right with a right to left sloping fairway on the approach to the green. After a good solid tee shot can be reached in two with a wood or low iron using the contours.
